Y.O.U. (Youth of Unity) 9th - 12th Grades
Classrooms open 15 minutes before Service times. During the 9:00 AM Service our Youth of Unity or Y.O.U. meet in Room E-7 at the West End of the Education Building. The curriculum and activities are the same as at the 11:00 AM Class.
During the 11:00 AM Service the Y.O.U. gather in Wallet Hall in the Education Building. They may do Joy Songs, crafts or activities prior to the lesson. Depending on the lesson there may be an assembly or large group activity including the Middle School youth, our Uniteens and/or elementary grades. The Y.O.U. Classroom is the Annex 111 Room and weather permitting the Y.O.U. move to their classroom for prayer, meditation, lesson, discussion and related activities. The Unity-based lessons are studied with interesting, age appropriate activities in a positive, friendly environment.
Our YOUTH, 6th -12th grades volunteer periodically to help with special events or fundraising activities on campus and other locations. The teens will have the opportunity on these days to work as a team to help their community and earn community, church or fundraising service hour credits.
