For Prospective Members
When you become a member of Unity of Houston, you are making the decision to commit to an expanded experience of partnership and participation in our spiritual community. And for that, we are grateful! Our bylaws require that you attend new member orientation as well as a New Member Sunday service. For our Spring 2024 session, we are excited to offer our orientation in the form of a retreat! You will learn information regarding the history of Unity of Houston and discover more about the programs, classes, and activities that are offered. Best of all you will have the opportunity to connect with other new members and participate in spiritual practice together in a fun and engaging environment. The New Member Retreat will offer an introduction into Unity teachings and spiritual practices and include a time of sitting and walking meditation. It will be a time of learning about Unity as well as connecting with others through spiritual teachings and practices. Participants must be at least 18 years of age and have attended service, in-person or online, for a minimum of six weeks. New Member Sunday will be on March 24. We will have a potluck lunch.
