Sunday, June 2: “It’s All About Perspective”
Rev. Michael Gott
None of us sees objective reality. Every person filters all experiences and perceptions through their own system of beliefs, cultural norms, and biases. This isn’t the problem. The problem is that we think we are seeing what’s really there, when in fact what we are seeing is our own perspective.
One of the hallmarks of conscious evolution is the increasing capacity to hold multiple perspectives. This opens us to greater possibilities and more creative opportunities than we have experienced before. Rev. Michael will share some insights and some practices that will help us hold a broader vision of what Spirit is doing in our lives, in our community, and in the world.
Parents: Please sign in your children in at the Youth & Family Ministry Building before the service.
Join us in person or watch our livestream on the Unity of Houston app or…
You can also visit the Media Center section of our website for previous lessons and meditations.
Our Sunday morning services are open for in-person attendance and they are livestreamed. They are our most well-attended services during the week. These services incorporate an uplifting music program, guided meditation and a positive, thought-provoking message delivered. Our Youth & Family Ministry is open, currently for children 18 months and older. For more information, visit https://unityhouston.org/family-children/youth/
