The Inheritance We Were Never Meant to Carry: Releasing Cultural Trauma, the Black Mother Wound and Reclaiming Soft Power

This Soul Recovery® circle is a sacred, trauma‑informed space for Black women ready to release inherited survival patterns shaped by cultural trauma and the Black mother wound. This is not blame work. It is liberation work. Through nervous-system regulation, somatic release, and Soul Recovery® integration, we unwind the imprints of hyper-strength, emotional suppression, over-functioning, loyalty binds, and identities formed through unspoken generational pain. We honor our mothers without carrying what was never ours. Here, love is freed from obligation, strength from self-erasure, and resilience from exhaustion. This circle restores softness without collapse, authority without hardness, and belonging without self-betrayal—awakening regulated power, embodied worth, and a feminine presence that no longer has to prove, perform, or protect to survive. This is not group therapy.
