Sunday School at Unity welcomes your children!
Our Sunday School classes offer an introduction to Unity principles and concepts, meditation, affirmative prayer, and more in age-appropriate ways that create space for questioning, discovery of their innate gifts and wisdom, and spiritual growth for children of all ages.
We welcome all children and youth to our Sunday School Program whether they are registered or not.
On Sunday Mornings:
- Parents, please sign your kids in at their classrooms, and then take them to Wallet Hall for Pre-session activities.

- All Sunday School Classrooms are located in the Youth & Family Ministry building (across the Courtyard from the Bookstore). Each classroom is designated according to age/grade level.
- Presession Activities: From 10:45 am ā 11:15 am all of the kids (except the Nursery) are invited to meet in Wallet Hall for games and activities. At 11:15 am the teachers then take the kids to the classrooms for an interactive and creative spiritual lesson.

Nursery
- For ages 6 weeks ā 3 years
- Our nursery provides a loving, nurturing, and safe environment for the little ones to play and have fun. A Unity based lesson is presented which aims to help toddlers discover their own uniqueness as individual expressions of God, along with teaching them about Godās world and its interrelatedness. This is done through songs, interactive activities, prayer, and meditation, followed by a snack.
Pre-School
- For ages 3,4 & 5 years
- Our Pre-School classes focus on Basic Unity Principles through the use of stories, playtime, games, art & crafts, music and a snack. Sunday School for this age group is all about having fun while they learn about God and themselves.
Elementary
- For grades K-5
- Our elementary kids discover the world of the Bible, Unity teachings, and other key spiritual concepts through activities like games, arts and crafts, creating unique snacks, watching and participating in drama, and music. We recognize that children learn through multiple intelligences and our program is designed to allow all children the opportunity to engage, explore and enjoy!
Pre-Teens
- For grades 6-8
- The environment of the Preteen classroom is playful and accepting. Spiritual lessons involve play, storytelling and interactive discussion, prayer and meditation, along with an occasional craft or activity that reinforces the lesson. The Preteens also meet the 3rd Friday of every month from 6-9 pm for games, activities, and pizza. Preteens have occasional opportunities to assist teachers in presenting lessons and activities to younger children. They also periodically collaborate with the teens to help with community service projects and special events. Preteens can earn school service hour credits from participating in such activities.
