Showcasing Local Artists

The Unity of Houston Art Gallery is located in the Welcome Center, along with the Unity Bookstore. It features the work of local artists, with a new show opening approximately every two months. You can purchase the art work through the Unity Bookstore. “Meet the Artists” events are open to the public. Come by any time and visit our gallery!

What We Show

The Unity of Houston Art Gallery features art that is uplifting, inspiring, calming, meditative, joyous, representative of spiritual values and/or conveys a meaningful message. We feature both group shows and solo shows.

Now Showing

IGNITE YOUR LIFE! Honoring the Deceased is a 10-year anniversary follow-up to Sarah Gish’s FotoFest Participating Space exhibit in 2016 titled IGNITE YOUR LIFE! A Visual Journey of Love. The 2026 exhibition is on view from March 8 through May 3 and comprises curated photographs from Sarah’s IGNITE YOUR LIFE! art project (www.IgniteYourOwnLife.com), with this selection being subjects who have passed away since the project began in 2013. It’s a visual survey of lives gone but not forgotten. As part of the show, there will be an ongoing “Memento Photo-line,” a clothesline-inspired display of photos of people and animals who have passed to which the public is invited to contribute. There will also be events to complement the show; check www.Facebook.com/IgniteYourOwnLife for more information. The Unity Art Gallery is open on Sundays.
