Join igniter, connector, teacher, and artist Sarah Gish (www.IgniteYourOwnLife.com) as she encourages fun & creative explorations of our life and our death. This talk will be in the Art Gallery so that attendees can see her FotoFest (www.FotoFest.org) show, IGNITE YOUR LIFE! Honoring the Deceased. We’ll talk about ways that people prepare for death, as well as how we envision our own death. We’ll also chat about how we ignite our lives, what we want to be remembered for, what words describe us. It will be a joyful celebration of something we all do: LIVE and DIE! If you wish: please bring or wear something that connects you to an ancestor (i.e. mother’s scarf, dad’s hat, etc.) as well as photos of loved ones (humans and pets) who have passed, which will be added to Sarah’s MEMENTO Photo-line that is part of her exhibition, on view through May 3.
