UNITY FINE ARTS is happy to welcome back Apollo Chamber Players (recently named 2025 Ensemble of the Year by Chamber Music America) to conclude their 2025 season “We, The People” with an intergenerational musical conversation about freedom, democracy, and the future. “FREEDOM” includes collaboration with students of Kinder HSPVA, two world premiere compositions – “Song of Democracy” and “What does Democracy Mean to You?” by International Commissioning Contest Winners, and settings of Ukrainian, Polish and Greek folk songs. An artist conversation with featured guests will include: Marcus Maroney (Composer UH Moores School of Music), Mark Buller (Composer), Marcus J. Jauregui (Kinder HSPVA Choir, Chair) and Judith Switeck (Kinder HSPVA Creative Writing Department, Chair).
