Tran Carapucci\, M.D.\, M.B.A.\, F.A.C.E.P.\, is a board-certified emergency physician and health policy leader with over 10 years of clinical experience. Dr. Tran previously served as Associate Vice President for Clinical Population Health and Advocacy at UTHealth Houston\, Assistant Dean at the UTHealth School of Public Health and Director of Strategic Initiatives for Harris Health’s award-winning Multi-Visit Patient Program. \nHer leadership has influenced state and federal legislation\, educational reform and innovative public health initiatives. She holds an M.D. from Baylor College of Medicine\, an M.B.A. from Rice University and completed her emergency medicine residency at the Mayo Clinic. Recognized as one of the “Top 25 Under 45 Influencers in Emergency Medicine” by the Emergency Medicine Residents’ Association\, Dr. Tran continues to advance community health through both her professional and volunteer work.

On Tuesday evening\, November 11\, 2025 – in honor of Compassion Week 2025 – Unity Fine Arts welcomes guest poets Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer and James Crews\, to join Senior Minister Rev. Michael Gott\, Director of Music and Fine Arts Kenneth Gayle\, and songwriter/pianist Gary Norian for a collaborative conversation\, experience and exploration of the art of language.  \n\n\n\nUnity Fine Arts\, generously underwritten by the Bosarge Family Foundation\, has been established to foster collaborations exploring the interfaces between the fields of Music\, Science\, Spirituality\, and Psychology. \n\n\n\nLove Offering \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nJames Crews is the author of Turning Toward Grief: Reflections on Life\, Loss & Appreciation\, and editor of several bestselling poetry anthologies\, including Love Is for All of Us\, a collection of LGBTQ+ love poems co-edited with his husband\, Brad Peacock. He has also edited The Wonder of Small Things (winner of the New England Book Award)\, The Path to Kindness (winner of the Nautilus Award)\, and How to Love the World\, which has sold over 100\,000 copies to date. He has been featured on NPR’s Morning Edition\, and in People Magazine\, The Boston Globe\, The New York Times Magazine\, The Sun Magazine\, and The Washington Post. He served as General Counsel at Sysco Corporation and later as Chief Operating Officer at Grocer’s Supply Company. \nFollowing his impactful tenure at the Houston Parks Board\, Michael took on the role of CEO at the Coalition for The Homeless\, where his strategic vision and collaboration efforts led to \nmarked improvements. These initiatives not only strengthened the organization but also contributed to more effective and sustainable solutions for addressing homelessness in Houston. \nRetiring in 2024\, Michael accepted the role of Director of Housing and Community Development Department for the City of Houston. He’s committed to ensuring affordable housing for all\, aligning with the Administration’s goal to make Houston the most affordable housing city in the nation. \nMichael has a loving wife\, Marcia Couch Nichols\, with whom he has shared over 40 years of joyous marriage\, raising four children\, and cherishing their roles as devoted grandparents to five grandchildren.
