Bring a yoga mats or blankets if you can.  The breathwork can be done in a chair if you prefer to sit. Using a full and connected breathing pattern\, we  bring awareness and life-source into our entire body. This clears away unwanted mental patterns\, integrates suppressed feelings stored in the sub-conscious including imprints & accumulated discord\, and enhances connection with and experience of Presence and Source. \nConscious awareness of our breath is taught in meditative practices\, martial arts\, yoga\, and other ancient philosophies. DESCRIPTION:Attend in-person. \nDrum Circle\nFacilitated by Cindy St. Cyr \n \nDrumming is great for healing\, wholeness\, life improvement\, and creating connections. Scientific evidence shows that drumming improves mood\, increases creativity\, reduces stress\, lowers blood pressure\, strengthens the immune system\, and more. In addition drumming is good for exercise and self-expression. Bring a drum or percussion instrument if you have one. We do have some to share. \nCindy St. Cyr is the founder of the Houston Music and Wellness Center. She harnesses the power of music for transformation and healing and specializes in music wellness programs that reduce stress and anxiety\, foster camaraderie\, and promote life-empowering changes. \nCindy is a professional musician who leads drum circles\, conducts sound healing sessions\, and sings soothing jazz. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of St. Thomas and studied music therapy at Sam Houston State University. She is a trained facilitator with REMO HealthRHYTHMS and Yamaha’s wellness piano program and is a Certified Sound Healing Practitioner with the International Sound Healing Academy. \n  \n\n\n \nChildcare will be available.
