We do face many difficulties in this world and in our lives. And yet we can trust God\, our Higher Power\, to strengthen and protect us. This month we are exploring the teaching of the Three Faces of God. The second face is that of the great Thou. It invites us to experience a loving relationship with the Divine. DESCRIPTION:Sponsored by Unity in the Community \nSign up to Volunteer\n \n\nOn the 2nd and 4th Wednesday morning of each month\, Unity of Houston volunteers\, in cooperation with the Houston Food Bank\, provide food for about 1\,000 families in our community! This takes lots of hands and you can join us in this fun and rewarding volunteer activity. Please sign up and come help us serve those in need in our community.  Snacks and water provided.  You will have fun and fellowship and be blessed by your service! \nVolunteer Shift: 8:30 am – 12:00 am \nPlease plan to arrive at the shift start as we review the daily plans\, have the required safety briefing\, and assign volunteers.  Those arriving late may need to wait for an assignment or may not be needed depending on the arrival time. \nOlder children may volunteer with an adult.
