“Unity Women – Coming Home: Weaving Body & Spirit through Dance”
Facilitated by Libbie Vaughan
In-person only
As women who nurture and care for so many others, we leave pieces of ourselves scattered far and wide. When we learn to surrender to the music and the dance, we call them all home. Give yourself the gift of this healing experience and fill your cup to overflowing!
No dance knowledge or ability needed. If you have a body, you can do this! It can even be done seated in a chair.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing that you can move in, or work-out/yoga attire. Bring a journal (optional). Water will be provided, or you may bring your own water bottle.
About Libbie Vaughan:
Libbie Vaughan is a retired clinical social worker and therapist who has been a member of our church for over 35 years. She was first introduced to this form of dance many years ago, but it was not until she lost her husband in 2020 that she discovered the healing power of movement. She wants to bring this experience to others to show them how to gracefully move through strong emotions, because that is how we find joy!
