Touchstone 2022 – Week 1
Sunday, October 2: “God is Giving. Are You Receiving?”
Prosperity is the human experience of the divine quality of abundance. It’s not something we have to manufacture or create, it’s written into the very fabric of reality. Abundance simply is. The block is not on the giving end of things, but in our own receptivity. How good can we stand it? Are we willing to widen and deepen our receptivity and live a life of true spiritual prosperity?
Homecoming Sunday!
Join us on Homecoming Sunday as we kick off our fall program “Touchtone: Prosper, Thrive, and Serve.” Homecoming Sunday will feature an intergenerational service and a blessing of our beautiful campus. Join us in the chapel after the service for the premier of a 45-minute movie titled “A Story of Unity” featuring special guest Richard Newsum. Richard was a child when his parents founded this church. He later became a youth group leader and a member of the board. He was president of the board when the Pyramid was built. After the video, Rev. Shirley Knight will host a Q&A session with Richard as we discuss the story of Unity.
Masks recommended on the lower floor. Masks required for balcony seating.
Join us in person or watch our livestream on the Unity of Houston app or…
You can also visit the Media Center section of our website for previous lessons and meditations.
Our Sunday morning services are open for in-person attendance and they are livestreamed. They are our most well-attended services during the week. These services incorporate an uplifting music program, guided meditation and a positive, thought-provoking message delivered. Our Youth & Family Ministry is open, currently for children 18 months and older. For more information, visit https://unityhouston.org/family-children/youth/
