As part of Unity Houston’s offerings for Black History Month, we are happy to host Apollo Chamber Players’ presentation of “REVISED”. This innovative string ensemble collaborates with two Houston Poet Laureate Emeriti (Deborah D.E.E.P. Mouton and Outspoken Bean) for a musical conversation about peace, poetry, and revisionism as censorship. Musical collaborators include composers Jasmine Barnes and John Cornelius, and vocal guest artists Houston Ebony Opera Guild, and Kenneth Gayle.
