“Wholeness in Heart and Mind”
Rev. Michael Gott
Emotional and mental health and wellbeing have always been an important part of our Divine wholeness. Now more than ever, it is beneficial to include a spiritual approach and understanding to help us maintain our peace, joy, and equanimity. Anxiety, loneliness, and depression are prevalent in our culture now. What can we do to live our wholeness more fully in this realm of our lives? We can know the truth of who and what we are, and we can take up the actions and choices that lift us into a higher state of emotional and mental health. Then we can live in the “peace that passes all understanding.”
Affirmation for Week 4:
I live wholeheartedly, experiencing peace, joy, and a great love of life.

The Revelation of Wholeness: Body, Mind, & Soul
“The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”
Luke 17:20-21
This powerful statement from Jesus is the philosophical and theological basis we bring to our work in prayer and transformation. The qualities of God that we are seeking to experience—Love, Peace, Joy, Power—are already within us, awaiting our recognition. We are image-bearers of the Divine, already and eternally whole and complete. The “work” we do in our spiritual growth is all to reveal the wholeness that is already within us—that already IS us! Join us for this six-week journey of transformation as we learn tools, principles, and perspectives that will enable us to manifest this fundamental wholeness in all areas of our lives.
Parents: Please sign in your children in at the Youth & Family Ministry Building before the service.
