“The Temple of the Holy Spirit”
Rev. Michael Gott
1 Corinthians 6:19 says, “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit?” Our physical bodies are holy. There is a subtle temptation in our New Thought philosophy to make spiritual reality superior to the earthly reality. But there is only ONE reality. This physical universe is the body of God. Our individual body is the expression of God’s perfection and wholeness. This does not mean that we don’t experience injury, illness, and physical death, but rather that God is present in these experiences, too. The wholeness of God is so profoundly whole, it can hold all imperfections and remain in sacred perfection.
Affirmation for Week 1:
The life of God lives in me. My body expresses Divine energy, vitality, and wholeness.

The Revelation of Wholeness: Body, Mind, & Soul
“The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”
Luke 17:20-21
This powerful statement from Jesus is the philosophical and theological basis we bring to our work in prayer and transformation. The qualities of God that we are seeking to experience—Love, Peace, Joy, Power—are already within us, awaiting our recognition. We are image-bearers of the Divine, already and eternally whole and complete. The “work” we do in our spiritual growth is all to reveal the wholeness that is already within us—that already IS us! Join us for this six-week journey of transformation as we learn tools, principles, and perspectives that will enable us to manifest this fundamental wholeness in all areas of our lives.
Parents: Please sign in your children in at the Youth & Family Ministry Building before the service.
