You Can’t Sleep Through Your Awakening
with Rev. Dr. Jane Simmons
Wednesday, July 22, 2020, 7:00 pm
Followed by Q&A.
Julia Cameron, author of The Artist’s Way, tells us that we are spiritual beings, having spiritual business to transact on this physical plane. Unfortunately, it is easy to forget this truth, and when we are unconscious as to who we really are, we end up sleepwalking through life. Join Rev. Dr. Jane Simmons to explore what it means to live an awakened life, with her talk entitled You Can’t Sleep Through Your Awakening.
Deepen Your Meditation Practices with this Special Online Event
The Q Process
with Revs. Drs. Gary & Jane Simmons
Saturday, July 25, 2020, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
What would your life be like if you lived from a deep place of peace, knowing that nothing and no one is against you? Too often in life we believe that outer circumstances are holding us back or causing us pain. When we wait for others to change, or our outer circumstances to adjust, we give away our sense of wholeness and our very freedom to craft the life our heart desires. There is a better way. Experience powerful exercises, multi-media presentations, and meaningful discussions to equip you to participate in a transformative 21-day process.
Registration fee includes the one-day training, a Q Process workbook, plus three group online coaching sessions as you go through the Q Process- a 21 day spiritual practice designed to shift your consciousness and your life!

HTS 105 – Metaphysics 1 | Rev. Jeanmarie Eck

SPD 115 – Self-Care | Rev. Mindy Lawrence Curtiss
Self-care involves making choices for ourselves that reflect a consciousness of well-being. As we become aware of the care of our mind, body, and spirit, we realize our best self. Elective – Paradigm Climb: Evolution Through the Spiral
Revs. Drs. Gary & Jane Simmons
Do you have the sense that there is change in the air and that a shift may be happening? The late eco-philosopher, Joanna Macy refers to this as The Great Turning. In this class, we will examine evolutionary transformation both culturally and individually as we explore the questions: What new paradigm of living wants to come forth? What may be getting in the way of its emergence? How can each of us be a part of a “Transformation Transition Team” to usher in a kinder, more compassionate world? Join Revs. Drs. Gary and Jane Simmons for an inspiring “paradigm climb” as we discover what it means to serve as a catalyst for evolutionary change.
SPD 100 – Meditation Practices | Rev. Karen Tudor
Extensive research on meditation practices has revealed that regular meditation has many mental and physical benefits and that there are many effective ways to meditate. This course explores the practice and the experience of various forms of meditation. Benefits of the various forms of meditation will be explored as well as methods to deal with resistance to it. There will also be helpful tips for developing a regular meditation practice. Practicing the Silence, Unity’s meditation practice, is fundamental and foundational to Unity teachings. Therefore, it will be the primary meditation practice for the duration of the course.
HTS 140 – History of New Thought and Unity | Rev. Shirley Knight
The History of New Thought & Unity explores the origin and development of the ideas, beliefs and practices that characterize the New Thought movement.
Monday – Friday | 2:00 pm – 3:50 pm
Elective – Women of the Bible | Rev. Karen Tudor
Women from the Hebrew scriptures and the Christian scriptures often appear as powerful or healing figures but have not always been presented that way. This class identifies select women from both traditions and examines them from a practical, psychological, symbolic and metaphysical perspective. The learner will be able to discern the metaphysical implications of these references and stories and apply them to his/her life as well as see the character as an archetype of qualities in us all.
HTS 100 – Foundations of Unity | Rev. Michael Gott
Building consciousness, knowledge and skills in any endeavor begins with learning the foundational principles. This course is designed to be the first course students take when embarking upon any of the Unity Worldwide Spiritual Institute’s learning paths.
HTS 120 – Metaphysics 4 | Rev. Jeanmarie Eck
The fourth phase in metaphysical study is continuing investigation and advanced application of the Truth students have learned in the previous metaphysical courses. This course summarizes and organizes metaphysical teachings to facilitate ever increasing demonstration of Truth. Through the consistent application of practical Truth principles, students will continuously transform their lives and realize more of their spiritual nature and potential.
July 19 – July 23
Sunday/Monday/Tuesday/Thursday | 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm
SCS 110 – Bible Interpretation: Hebrew Scriptures | Rev. Sheila Gautreaux
Unity’s approach to scripture is connected with that stream of thought, which has at times been “mainstream”, but more often “esoteric” and mystical. Students will experience the rewarding and surprisingly practical process of the Unity way of Bible interpretation.
TAS 100 – Conversation Skills | Rev. Shirley Knight
Conversation skills is a course that enhances effective communication skills to include the ability to stay in dialogue when emotions are driving us to “shout out”, or “shut down”. This course provides knowledge and tools for listening, creating connection and facilitating dialogue in tough, emotional situations.
SCS 105 – Bible Overview: Christian Scriptures | Cris Perez, LUT
This course explores the Gospel, letters, history (Book of Acts), and apocalyptic literature (Book of Revelation) that comprises what is more commonly known as the “New Testament” of the Judeo-Christian Bible.
