Featuring Deborah McLeod and David Suhler.
Visit the Unity of Houston Art Gallery and see the artwork in our newest show featuring artists Deborah McLeod and David Suhler. The gallery is located in the Welcome Center.
Deborah McLeod has been attending Unity of Houston regularly in recent months. She works as a psychotherapist in Houston and paints in her spare time. Deborah has been painting for about six years. She has a beloved cat named Chloe, and because of her fondness for animals, she makes them the subjects of her paintings. Due to her love of the paisley design, she incorporates this in all of her paintings. Deborah considers painting a meditative experience as well as her passion as he focuses only on color and form, losing all track of time.
After serving in the Navy for four years, David Suhler received his BFA from the University of Houston in 1979, and worked as a graphic artist and illustrator for five years. Although he joined Harris Gallery in 1991, he was previously represented by McMurtrey Gallery of Houston, Texas. Mr. Suhler paints scenes in oil and pastel from Texas, Oregon, California, Utah and wherever he goes. Suhler has shown extensively in Texas and Chicago. His many paintings and commissions are featured in private and corporate collections throughout the United States. Suhler loves the abstract qualities of the landscape with the countless painting challenges and moods.
