Sunday, October 31: “What Do You Value Most?”
Week 5 of Touchstone: Living on Purpose
What matters to you? Learning to name our values is a helpful step on our journey of the soul. Sometimes when we are troubled by things we observe in the world, it’s not pointing to something broken within us, but something whole. Something we value highly may be being violated and our heart is activated. If we listen, our heart will whisper what’s most important.

Creating a Life of Fulfillment and Meaning
There is a longstanding question in the realm of metaphysical spirituality. What is the purpose of our teaching? To help us create a better life for ourselves, or to help us be of service to the world? The answer is “Yes!” In this six-week series, Rev. Michael will illuminate how the journey of discovering our true and authentic self can not only guide us to a life of personal freedom and fulfillment, but also to a greater usefulness to Spirit and our human family.
Each of us is a unique, irreplaceable, unrepeatable expression of God’s creativity and power. When we discover the “shape of our soul” we can learn how better to use our time and energy in ways that bring a greater sense of worth, meaning, and satisfaction to our lives. Success and happiness are fine objectives, but they aren’t big enough for the soul. Fulfillment can only come when we show up as our truest, most authentic selves and offer to use our gifts to help others.
In this six-week study, we will look at Desire, Interest, Values, and Gifts and Talents. These are all clues to help us reconnect and remember our deepest nature. Then we will be able to use our time here on earth in ways that are meaningful and resonant with our soul. Join us, and discover a new freedom and a new joy in your life!
