Facilitated by Ebony Leary and JoyBeth Lufty
This group provides a Facebook page full of resources, prayers, meditations, tips of the trade, and even jokes for family caregivers. We post resources at https://www.facebook.com/Unity Houston CareforGivers
Instead of monthly online support group meetings, we will be providing family caregiver workshops. So keep checking in with us.
A Message from the Group Facilitators:
CAREforGIVERS has been active for a year and a half now and we want to send out a big THANK YOU to all who have been a part of providing spiritual support to our family caregivers. You are appreciated!!
Our contact info is posted here and on our Facebook page. We’d love to stay in touch with you as we concentrate on producing both writings and video reels covering Integrating Spirituality in Family Caregiving.
BLESSINGS winging your way from CareForGivers Ebony and JoyBeth💜
Our Mission: Our group provides education, support and spiritual food for care givers.
Caregivers are men, women, young, old, from every corner of the world and every way of life. They care for their parents, spouses, siblings, friends, and children. They do the hard work of taking care of the vulnerable among us often without requesting the responsibility. This group is for you… the Givers.
What are the benefits of our Support Group? Our intention is to provide you with valuable tools and resources that make your life easier and to connect you with your most valuable resource, each other. By doing so we hope collectively you will teach us what you need and how to best support you.
