The Unity Peace Makers (UPM) have formed at Unity Church of Christianity to build on the energy and inspiration of the Association for Global New Thought (AGNT) and to work to bring into reality in the greater Houston area the AGNT vision of an awakened world. In support of the church's mission of teaching, loving, and inspiring people to be all that they are created to be, the group's goal is to create and support a loving, empowered, and peaceful community and world where all are conscious of their unity with each other, the earth, and God. This is done through various projects and ongoing activities at Unity and in the Houston community. Check out the UPM website to learn more. All are always welcome at our monthly meetings and other events. We meet monthly, typically on the 4th Friday of the month, in Wallet Hall at Unity for food, fellowship, programs, and planning of our various activities. Most meetings include programs, often by outside speakers, and updates on current group activities. Child care is provided for all monthly meetings upon request prior to the meeting date. Peace Party!!! That’s right…we said PARTY. Unity PeaceMakers is hosting a Peace Party on Friday evening, August 22nd. Come dressed as your favorite Person of Peace, or Era of Peace, or anything that represents Peace in your life. Or come as yourself in a peaceful state. Just say OM! Get the scoop on Unity Church ’s 11 Days of Interfaith Celebration in September, and find out how to participate. Come and talk to people who love peace – share your ideas and experiences about peace, and get inspired by others. Friday, August 22, 6:30 to 9 pm, Wallet Hall at Unity Church of Christianity. It’s Peace Potluck, so bring “food for the soul”.

Join Unity PeaceMakers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, September 26 to hear our wonderful friend, author and teacher of A Course in Miracles, Jerry Stefaniak present “Relationships and Peace”.
One of the fundamental teachings of A Course in Miracles is how much our relationships affect our peace of mind.
Once we begin to see that the problems of peace start in our own minds and from how we perceive the world, then we can heal the problem at the root. As we find peace with ourselves, we find peace with others. This is the basis for developing world peace.
Jerry will introduce us all to the basic precepts of A Course in Miracles and its teachings on relationships and peace. We begin with a potluck dinner at 6:30 in Wallet Hall, followed by the program at 7:15. Come and find how World Peace starts at the very center of your heart!!!
