Outreach Ministry
Being able to reach out into the community is a proactive way in which we live the philosophy we believe - that we are all spiritually connected, one to another. In this belief, when the consciousness of one is raised that it in turn raises the consciousness of us all.
Programs include the annual Salvation Army Holiday Gift Giving program, homeless coat drive, quarterly Red Cross Blood donation drives, and Rebuilding Houston Together.
Salvation Army Gifts to Children – Gift tag pick up on November 23 and 30 with Gifts due back at the church no later than December 7, 2008.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITIY
As many of you remember, the impact of Hurricane Katrina/Rita in 2005 devastated the lives of thousands of families along the Gulf Coast. As a result, in late August and September, Unity Church of Christianity will be building a home for one of these families using funds received from people in our ministry and other Unity ministries around the country. We are still in the planning stages of this community outreach project and will provide more details in the days to come. As it currently stands, the project will encompass 4-6 Saturday’s in which volunteers from our church will work alongside the selected family in the construction of their new home. If you would like to participate in this project, please email Rev. Ed Williams at edwilliams@unityhouston.org or call the office at 713-782-4050 and get your name on the Habitat for Humanity list. Please complete the information below in an email and send it to the Rev Ed Williams link above.
