In the past couple years I have taken the month of August to do some personal development as well as get some rest. Last year I went to India and took a three week Oneness Course at the Oneness University outside Chenai. It was referred to as Level I and was very meaningful to me for a number of reasons, one of them being their similarity to our Unity teachings. It also gave me the opportunity to deepen my spiritual experience.
I will be gone again this August and it will include additional spiritual and personal development. I have been guided to return to India and attend Level II at the Oneness University. I feel as though I have an obligation to myself and all those whom I serve in ministry to take time for the pursuit of expanding my spiritual consciousness. My sincere hope and desire is to go yet to a deeper level of connecting with the Divine Presence of Spirit so that I may return to share the fruits of my inner work.
What I received from my previous trip to India and the Oneness Course was found to be valuable and it has called me back to take next level. With every committed step to go deeper we benefit in clarity and internal freedom.
I encourage you to continue your own spiritual journey and growth by supporting the spectacular group of speakers we have lined up for you in the month of August. Bishop Carlton Pearson was a wonderful success last year; therefore, we’ve added him to the lineup of this year’s Sunday Spectacular Speakers, which also include Rev. Richard Rogers, Rev. Leo Booth, and Rev. Mary Manin Morrissey. These wonderful presenters have so much to offer and teach, I hope that you’ll support them while I’m away.
I will look forward to seeing all of you when I return and ask that your prayers and blessings go with me.
